HOW TO WRITE COMPLEX EMOTION IS BACK Most writers describe emotion. This workshop teaches you to transmit it. Instead of naming feelings or hiding them in subtext, you'll learn to track emotion as it registers in your body—temperature shifts, pulsation, tension—and transform these sensations into prose that lands in the reader's nervous system. Drawing on clinical psychology, neuroscience, somatic practices, and my decades navigating panic disorder, I've developed a method that inverts traditional craft instruction: we start with the body's internal signals and move outward to language. This is a two-day, five-hour intensive limited to 12 participants.
